Restaurant Sesame follows the family tradition from 1880 and is located in a quaint green oasis just a couple of minutes away from the Old town Dubrovnik, in the street leading towards Gradac park and Danče beach, favorite local spots.
The street is named after the great Italian poet Dante, and if you look closely, you will see his bust near the entrance to Sesame. The restaurant is a part of a two-hundred year old stone house, surrounded by lush greenery of orange and pittosporum trees.
Every little detail inside Sesame tells the story of Dubrovnik, its rich history is simply a part of Sesame’s own identity. A careful observer will undoubtedly notice old black and white photos of Dubrovnik, with its old tram from the 20th century. There are other curiosities, like the little owl figurines, symbols of wisdom, scattered throughout the restaurant.
