Pod Zidom Bistro is located in the very heart of Zagreb, behind the main square Trg bana Josipa Jelačića, in a peaceful and charming street Pod Zidom. Nearby you can find the stunning Zagreb Cathedral and Dolac – one of the oldest market place in Zagreb. Pod Zidom Bistro offers you historical and relaxing location, Dolac market charm and insight into the rhythm of the city . Our terrace is quite unique, with an amazing view on the Cathedral of Zagreb. „Pod Zidom“ is the name of an old historical street stretching along the left bank of Medvešćak stream. Street was located underneath the Kaptol wall and later named after it. In 1920 Kaptol wall was torn down and market Dolac was built but the street kept it’s name ever since. Our terrace is quite unique, with amazing view on Zagreb Cathedral. Focusing on the fresh ingredients our menu changes seasonally. We appreciate our local farmers and aim on supporting them, therefore all our ingredients are supplied from the local market place Dolac. Depending on the ingredients available on the market a different variety of dishes is created from scratch and added to our menu on daily basis, starting from homemade bread each morning. Our chef’s greatest goal is presenting carefully chosen ingredients and traditional flavours blended with modern cuisine.
